  • March 17 - Hardware despatched
  • March 19 - T-systems contact me with price for Tellique software
  • March 19 - Ordered Tellique software by e-mail
  • March 20 - installed DVB card in PC
  • March 21 - Antenna installed
  • March 24 - Username/password arrived from EUMETSAT
  • March 26 - Tellique software arrives
  • March 26 - First data received
  • April 30 - MSG-1 HRIT data dissemination starts
  • July 07 - MSG-1 LRIT data dissemination starts
  • July 29 - MSG-1 Foreign Satellite Data (FSD) starts
  • August 05 - FSD format changed to use lossless wavelet compression
  • August 22 - Yahoo group for MSG-1 started
  • October 29 - High Resolution Visible (HRV) data changed to lossless compression
  • November 25 - Indian Ocean Data Coverage (IODC from Meteosat-5) data added to LRIT data stream
  • December 9..11 - mini-scan tests with 3-minute and 5-minute repeat cycles
  • December 15..16 - more 3-minute mini-scan tests (planned)
